Rakaposh (7788m) Stand in the front of Karimabad Hunza. It is one of the magnificent pyramids and
most beautiful peak in the world. The peak can be climbed from all sides. Dominating the horizon it is
constantly visible from the Karakoram Highway. The scene from Hunza is awesome and beyond
description. Its perpetual glacier adds thrill of delight that belongs to the beauty of Hunza.
In 1892, Martin Conway explored this peak though he could not find way to summit. On June 25, 1958 a
British/Pakistani joint expedition members Mike Banks and Tom Patey of UK reached the summit.
Program:
Day 01: Arrival Islamabad transfer to hotel, city tour/ Hotel
Day 02: Fly to Gilgit/drive to Chilas 12hrs/Hunza Hotel
Day 03: Drive to Minapin village and continue trekking to Hapakun 3 hrs 2700m. Camp
Day 04: Trek Hapakun to Tagafari meadows 3100m 3/4 hrs.Camp .
Day 05: Trek to the BaseCamp
Day 06-38 Climbing activaties
Day 39: Trek back to Minapin village 4 hrs and Drive to Hunza Karimabad
Day 40: Explore Baltit and Altit fort. Hotel
Day 41: Drive to Passu village 2400m/ Hotel
Day 42: Drive to Khunjerab pass China border and back to Gilgit 6-8hrs/Hotel
Day 43: Fly to Islamabad or drive to Islamabad 14hrs/hotel
Day 44: Day free at Islamabad
Day 45: Transfer to airport for International flight
