Darkot Pass and Karumber Lake situated in between karamber and Yasin valley. This take you through the most desirable rute from Ishkoman to Yasin and karamber valley. The rugged karamber valley lead to some of most scienic places and large alpine meadows used byGujar in Karamber and Wakhi people in Broghil valley. This valley apperantly used the route to Budhist pilgrims from Afghanistan Wakhan corridor to Gilgit via Khodarg Werth Pass.
Darkot Pass trek, to cross the snow-covered, but straightforward Darkot and Ishkuman passes before descending to Gilgit . From each of these high passes (c. 4600m.), there are magnificent views towards the mountains of the central Karakoram. Offering a diversity of unspoiled landscape and an interesting mix of cultures, this is exploratory travel at its best, where the people we meet are as curious about us as we are about them
