Shimshal valley is the remotest part of North East Hunza Karakorum Range. Jeep drives via
gorge valley to Shimshal village itself one of great adventure. This valley was isolated till 2002,
local community self and AKRSP built a link road from Passu (KKH) to Shimshal village. Shimshal
Chapchigal Pass trek passes through ablation valley, pastures and trekking over Chafchingol
pass to KKH Kuksil. There are several virgin peaks around the valley also trekking routes leads to
different valleys e.g. KKH, Hisper valley, Pamir valleys and Biafo glacier over Kurdopine pass.

Day 01: Arrival at Islamabad /hotel
Day 02: Drive to Chillas 10-12hrs /hotel
Day 03: Drive to Passu 7-8hrs/ hotel
Day 04: Jeep drive to Shimshal village (2800m) 2-3hrs / hotel
Day 05: Trek to Zardgarben(4075m) 4-5hrs/camp
Day 06: Trek to Jafervask (4602m) 4hrs/camp
Day 07: Trek to Perchodvask (4580m) 4-5 hrs/camp
Day 08: Trek to War-e-Ben (3597m) 5-6hrs/camp
Day 09: Trek to Chafchingol Base Camp (4084m) 4-5hrs/camp
Day 10: Trek to cross Chafchingol Pass (5100m) Koksil River 7- 8hrs/camp
Day 11: Trek to Koksil and continue drive to Karimabad Hunza 7-8hrs/hotel
Day 12: Day Free
Day 13: Drive to Basham 8-9hrs/hotel
Day 14: Proceed to Islamabad 6 hrs/ hotel
