Hunza's 48000
inhabitants live in villages divided into three part Lower Hunza, upper
Hunza and central Hunza. Hunzakuts, as the people of Hunza are known as
the descendent from five wandering soldiers from Alexzender the great's
army. In central Hunza people speak Burusheski language; in upper Hunza
(Gojal) people speak Wakhi language and the lower part people speak
Shina language.
The natural beauty, Hunza Valley is the central piece of Karakurum.
Hunza Karimabad is the only town, where you can view the five famous
peaks Rakaposhi 7788m, Golden peak 7027m Diran 7256m Ulter I 7388m,
Ulter II 7310m and many below. Hunza people are famous for their long
life due to simple diet and less stress. People of Hunza are very
friendly and cherfull,
Program:
Day 01: Arrival at
Islamabad air port and transfer to hotel. City tour of Rawalpindi and
Islamabad. Hotel
Day 02: Drive Chilas throw Manshera, Besham and Khoistan.
We stop to visit Shatyal Rock carving /Hotel
Day 03: Drive to Hunza- Karimabad. We stop at view point of Nanga
Parbat (8125m), junction point of the three great mountain range
(Himalaya, Karakorum and Hindukush) and Rakaposi view point. After lunch
we continue to Hunza throw KKH
Day 04: Exploration day in Hunza, visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort,
carpet center and Karimabad bazar. In the afternoon drive to
Diukar for sunset and sunrise./Hotel in Diukar
Day 05: Drive to Passu. On the way we stop in Gulmit for
visit the female carpet factory and cross the hanging bridge. Lunch at
Borith Lake. After Lunch continue to Passu/ dinner and sleep
at local house
Day 06: Full day in Passu to explore the village. Visiting the
Passu glaciar. After dinner local music show /local house
Day 07: Drive to Khunjerab pass (4700m) and back to Passu for
overnight in hotel
Day 08: Drive to Gilgit. Visit Kargah Buda, Gilgit bazar/
Hotel
Day 09: Dive to Besham
Day 10: Drive to Islamabad
Day 11: Departure
